Picnic spots in South Dinajpur

South Dinajpur can boast of few good picnic-spots in its locality, and they are also quite popular among the local population. One among them is Sarengbari near the Hilli Border (International border with Bangladesh). Small brooks and jungle is the main attraction of this spot. Located around 20 kms from Balurghat , this tribal area is frequently visited by picnickers.

Another fine picnic spot just 5-6 kms from Balurghat Town is Doghachi, this is a beautiful picnic spots in light woods.
