Favourite moments of life?

Image
I have images that I like. These are fond memories which always has a pleasant feeling associated with it. It would be rather harsh on my part to call one of them favorite among so many of those moments that made me appreciate the creation of god . All the moments that I have lived on this beautiful planet is a notable experience. With Pictures I have just tried in vain to immortalize the snapshots of life.Keeping a dated album of Pictures of life always serves as an interesting way of keeping oneself alive, and re-live this small life many times over. Take a look at some pictures others call them their favorite.

Aztec's were smarter than we earlier thought

Image
Aztecs the famous civilization that could not survive the Spanish invasion and collapsed during 1519, are known for their sophistication in the fields of architecture, engineering, astronomy etc. But latest research suggests that they were probably more intelligent and sophisticated than what we believe. It was always known that the Aztecs followed a system of mathematical calculation but recent analysis of manuscripts dating back to 1540 shows that the Aztec’s possessed more sophisticated and complex method for calculating than what we believed. Using written symbols like hearts, arrows, hands , sun , bones etc. After examining hundreds of drawings from the two manuscripts dating back to 1540 – 1544 showed that the Aztec’s used their own unique system of their own to calculate or figure out say the area of a land or the number or size of an army.

Universal temple at Chennai

Image
THE ABOVE TEMPLE IS THE OLD TEMPLE. BELOW ARE THE PICTURES OF THE NEW TEMPLES! IS IT NOT BEAUTIFUL? Swami Vivekananda on his triumphal return from the West was requested by the devotees in Madras (now Chennai) to start a Math here. To fulfil their earnest desire Swamiji sent his brother-disciple Swami Ramakrishnananda to Madras in March 1897 and thus Sri Ramakrishna Math,Madras, came into existence. After reaching Madras, the first thing Swami Ramakrishnananda did was to set up a small shrine for Sri Ramakrishna at a rented house. He lived there and led a life of renunciation service and austerities. Slowly he built up the institution as the present Sri Ramakrishna Math which is a hub of muiti-pronged service activities. This is the oldest centre of the Ramakrishna Order in the South.Sri Ramakrishna Math completed hundred years of its service in 1997. The shrine of Sri Ramakrishna set up in 1917 in the present Math was clearly too small to accommodate the growing number of devotees....

New year 2008

Time has no divisions to mark its passage; there is never a thunderstorm or blare of trumpets to announce the beginning of a new month or year. Even when a new century begins it is only we mortals who ring bells and fire off pistols.New Year's eve is like every other night; there is no pause in the march of the universe, no breathless moment of silence among created things that the passage of another twelve months may be noted; and yet no man has quite the same thoughts this evening that come with the coming of darkness on other nights. True crabs

The true crabs (Cancer, carcinus, Portumis, etc.) reach the highest degree of specialization among Crustacca. The cephalothorax is baroader than longer. Both the pairs of feelers are small. The antennules and the eye stalks are contained in sockets of the carapace. The third maxillipedes are flat and plate-like and cover the other mouth parts. The five pairs of thoracic legs are well-developed and clawed. The first legs are chelate, forming the large pinching claws, the remaining legs are non-chelate.The abdomen is very short with an uncalcified, soft sternal region. It is permanently bent under the cephalothorax, fitting into a groove in the thoracic sterna, thus remaining almost invisible in the dorsal view of the animal. The abdomen is narrower in male but somewhat broader in female. The pleopods are greatly reduced, the male retaining only two pairs of them, which serve as copulatory organs ; the female has four pairs for carrying the eggs. The uropods are usually absent. Now they have had to glue additional sheets to write new messages . And Glynis says she would reject a new card and insists on having the old card again and again in future also.

The birth chart of Sonia Antonia Maino alias Sonia Gandhi

The above picture is just a sample of typical birth chart The calculations were based on these variables. Sonia Antonia Maino December 9 1946 00:00 AM Varese, Italy +1 GMT 008° 48' E 45° 48' N The Luminaries: Sun and Moon The state of the solar system at the time of your birth points to self-similar (fractal) qualities within you. But of all the planets, the "lights" - the Sun and Moon - are thought to indicate the main polarity of your being. The Sun and Moon act as positive and negative poles - an intentional, directing element (Sun), and a suggestible, receptive one (Moon). In a beneficial relationship, the emotional conditioning of the Moon is given a purposive and positive expression by the astrological Sun. This has been called 'intentional living'. Wherever we allow our consciousness (attention) to rest, that we vi...
