Ancestor of Modern Indian elephant that live in the Pliocene Pleisticene Era. Scientifically it is called Stegodon Ganesha. ( Now Some may disagree with the naming but iut is as it is) . The tusks used to be huge 10-12 feet long and they were considerably larger than the modern descendants. A strange looking animal that roamed South America and a close relative of the modern days Armadillos. They lived in the Pleistocene era . My Son and darling Wife infront of a statute of 'Yaksha' made with reddish grey sandstone during  the 3rd to 2nd century BCE.
