My 2008 New year Resolution

SAY NO TO CANCEROUS CHINESE FOOD

No, this is not my resolution of dieting. But my resolve of not becoming a cancer patient by consuming Chinese delicacies from eateries in India. In a shocking revelation from a reliable source its learnt that Ajina moto or Monosodium Glutamate which is a common ingredient of chinese food is supposed to be one of the main factors of cancer in people consuming them for over a period of time. A study on 134 cancer patients suffering from stomach cancer by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Cancer Reaserch Institute has found that more than 50% of them had a history of consuming Chinese from the road side eateries that can be found everywhere in India. Why do these small and medium sized eateries use Ajina moto or Monosodium Glutamate inspite of it being banned by WHO ( World Health Organisation) way back in 2004? This substance enhances the taste of the food . Apart from enhancing the taste it also leads to stimulation which results in excessive secretion of Pentagastrin acid which causes ulcers in stomach and if not detected at the nick of time it generally aggravates to stomach cancer. In additon to all this Ajina moto or Monosodium Glutamate forms free radicals which damages the cells of the stomach.

So No to Ajina moto and No to road side Chinese delicacies for a happier 2008.
