River Beas

River Beas also know as 'Vipasha' in Sanskrit and Veda Vyas as the presiding Patron originates from Himalayas in central Himachal Pradesh, Flows for 470 KMs and reaches River Sutlej in Punjab.

The river flows along the route to Manali from Shimla during its journey of 290 Miles to meet Sutlej. The riverbasin of River Beas is around 20303 square kilometers. Few shots taken of the river Beas while my tour of Shimla and Manali.

This river marks the extent to which Alexander The Great could conquer of India during his Campaign of 326 BC.
